Saanichton, B.C. – The British Columbia Elite Hockey League (BCEHL) is gearing up for the 2024-25 season and is looking for individuals who may be interested in coaching or staff positions in AAA programs.

With many positions available, the 2024-25 season is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get involved with AAA hockey. The BCEHL has 32 teams spread across the province and is comprised of four AAA leagues (U18 Female, U18, U17 and U15). There are head coaching opportunities available for the following teams:

  • Fraser Valley Rush – Female U18 
  • Greater Vancouver Canadians – U17
  • Okanagan Rockets – U17
  • Vancouver Island Royals - U17
  • Vancouver North West Hawks – U17

There are also many programs that are seeking assistant coaches and trainers.

We are asking any interested individuals to follow this LINK and provide the following information:

  • Position you are interested in
  • Team and league you are interested in applying with
  • Previous experience

To be considered for a coaching position within the BCEHL, NCCP certifications are required (High Performance 1 for head coaches or Development 1 for assistant coaches). These are volunteer positions that come with an honorarium.

The next phase in the process will see the general managers from each of the teams with coaching vacancies contact applicants for interviews. Only candidates who have been selected for additional consideration will be contacted.
