BCEHL ANNOUNCES 2025-26 COMMISSIONER'S AWARD NOMINEES

Saanichton, B.C. - The BCEHL is please to announce the Commissioner's Award nominees for the 2025-26 season.

The Commissioner's Award celebrates a BCEHL athlete who profoundly impacts their community and shows exemplary leadership on-and-off the ice. Some attributes that are taken into consideration are:

A willingness to help others
A positive attitude
Accountability and reliability
A strong work ethic
Community driven
Leadership

The Commissioner's Award was creating in the 2023-24 season, and over the past two seasons the BCEHL has seen an impressive number of worthy nominees. This has led the league to evolve the award format and celebrate each team's nominee who best exemplifies the criteria for the Commissioner's Award.

The BCEHL selection committee will determine a winning athlete who will be notified once the decision is complete, followed by an announcement of the winner after the BCEHL season.

We would like to congratulate and celebrate the following 29 nominees for representing the BCEHL in a positive manner, and for being outstanding members in their community.

The Commissioner's Award is the BCEHL's most prestigious award and to recognize this, the winner will receive $2,500 towards New Balance and/or Warrior Hockey products, made possible by the BCEHL's strong relationship with Shadow Agency and Warrior Hockey.
