BCEHL PLAYOFF UPDATE - MARCH 8-10

Saanichton, B.C. - The Fraser Valley Thunderbirds were named champions at last weekend's U15 Championship! Now it's time for week two of BCEHL playoff action. The opening round kicks off in the Female and integrated U18 leagues, while the U17 league moves on to the semifinals. Let's take a look at what's in store!
Female U18 AAA
The Female U18 Playoffs begin this weekend with a best-of-three Survivor Series between the fourth-place Northern Capitals and the fifth-place Vancouver Island Seals. The winner of the series will then move on to face the top-seeded Fraser Valley Rush in the semifinals.

March 8-10 (Survivor Series - Best-of-Three)
- (5) Vancouver Island Seals vs. (4) Northern Capitals
March 15-17 (Semifinals - Best-of-Three)
- (1) Fraser Valley Rush hosting the winner of the Survivor Series between the Northern Capitals and Vancouver Island Seals
- (2) Thompson Okanagan Lakers hosting the (3) Greater Vancouver Comets
March 22-24 (Championship - Best-of-Three)
Winners of the two semifinal series', hosted by the highest remaining seed

U18 AAA
The quarterfinals of the U18 playoffs kick off on Friday with four matchups. Teams will play in a best-of-three series, with the first two-games taking place on Friday and Saturday. If necessary, a third and deciding game will be played on Sunday to determine the series winner.

U15 AAA
Congratulations to the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds on capturing the BCEHL U15 Championship!
The U15 Championship took place at Langley Twin Rinks last weekend. All nine teams skated in four round-robin games, followed by a single-elimination knockout stage, where eight teams were seeded based on the results of the round-robin stage. Sunday's championship final saw the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds take on the Thompson Blazers. A pair of goals from Jaemin Andy Kim helped the Thunderbirds to a 2-1 victory and the U15 Championship.
