BCEHL WEEKEND UPDATE - OCTOBER 2-5

Saanichton, B.C. - The BCEHL enters its fourth week of the 2025-26 season! The top teams in the U18 league square off while there is a lone matchup in the U15 league. Let's take a look at what's happening around the BCEHL.
Female U18 AAA
This weekend, four squads will be hitting the ice in the Female U18 league. The league-leading Thompson-Okanagan Lakers (5-1-0-0) will host the third-place Greater Vancouver Comets (2-2-0-0) in Vernon. The second-place Fraser Valley Rush (3-1-0-0) will travel to Prince George to face off against the fourth-place Northern Capitals (1-2-01).
Saturday's Female U18 Games:
Greater Vancouver Comets @ Thompson-Okanagan Lakers – 1:00 p.m. – Priest Valley Arena
Fraser Valley Rush @ Northern Capitals – 5:45 p.m. – Kin Centre
Sunday's Female U18 Games:
Fraser Valley Rush @ Northern Capitals – 9:00 a.m. – Kin Centre
Greater Vancouver Comets @ Thompson-Okanagan Lakers – 10:30 a.m. – Priest Valley Arena
U18 AAA
The U18 league will have seven matchups over three days. The fourth-place Valley West Giants (1-2-0-1) and the sixth-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (1-1-0-0) kick off the action on Thursday when they meet in Abbotsford. The first-place Cariboo Cougars (3-1-0-0) will square-off against the second-place Okanagan Rockets (2-0-0-0) in Kelowna.

U17 AAA
Teams across the U17 league get ready to lace up across B.C. The league-leading Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (5-1-0-0) will go head-to-head with the fifth-place Valley West Giants (2-2-0-0) in a home-and-home series. The second-place Cariboo Cougars (4-0-0-0) will battle the seventh-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (2-2-0-0) in Burnaby.

The U15 league has a lone matchup this weekend. The seventh-place Greater Vancouver Canadians (0-5-0-0) host the third-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (4-1-0-0) in Richmond.
