Saanichton, B.C. - We're back for a seventh week across the BCEHL! The U18 and U15 leagues feature games between teams battling for positioning in the standings, while top spot is up for grabs in the U17 league. Let's take a closer look at what's in store.

Female U18 AAA

The fourth-place Northern Capitals (3-3-1) will host the league-leading Fraser Valley Rush (7-4-0) in the lone matchup of the Female U18 league this weekend.

Saturday’s Female U18 Game:

Sunday’s Female U18 Game:

Fraser Valley Rush @ Northern Capitals - 9:45 a.m. - Kin Centre

U18 AAA

The U18 league is full of action this week, with all teams hitting the ice over a span of six days. The fourth-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (4-4-0) will look to gain ground on the second-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (6-2-0) in a home-and-home series. Separated by only one point in the standings, the fifth-place Thompson Blazers (4-4-0) and the sixth-place Valley West Giants (3-3-1), face off in a pivitol contest.

Monday’s U18 Game:

Vancouver North East Chiefs @ Fraser Valley Thunderbirds – 7:45 p.m. – Abbotsford Centre

U17 AAA

This week, the U17 league consists of three tilts, which include each of the top three teams in the standings. Undefeated in regulation, the second-place Cariboo Cougars (8-0-1) will look to claim top spot in the standings when they hit the road to face off against the fourth-place Vancouver North West Hawks (6-3-0). Meanwhile, the third-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (6-3-1) will welcome the eighth-place Greater Vancouver Canadians (3-7-0), and the league-leading Thompson Blazers (9-3-0), will host the ninth-place Vancouver Island Royals (0-10-0).

Thursday’s U17 Game:

Saturday’s U17 Games:

Cariboo Cougars @ Vancouver North West Hawks – 6:00 p.m. – Canlan Ice Sports North Shore

Sunday’s U17 Games:

Cariboo Cougars @ Vancouver North West Hawks – 11:00 a.m. – Canlan Ice Sports North Shore

U15 AAA

The U15 league features a pair of matchups between teams closely knit in the league standings. The third-place Cariboo Cougars (5-3-0) look to hold off the fourth-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (4-3-1), who trail them by only one point in the standings. Elsewhere, the sixth-place Vancouver North West Hawks (2-6-0) and seventh-place Valley West Giants (2-7-0), who enter the week tied in the standings, hit the ice for a Sunday afternoon matinee.
