BCEHL WEEKEND UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 13-14

Saanichton, B.C. - The 2025-26 British Columbia Elite Hockey League (BCEHL) season begins this weekend with the U17 AAA league kicking off the action. There will be eight squads taking the ice for the U17 AAA league with the top two teams from the 2024-25 regular season going head-to-head. The U18 AAA and Female U18 AAA leagues will begin on September 20 while the U15 AAA league gets underway on September 19. Let's see what's in store.

Female U18 AAA

The Female U18 AAA league is set to commence on September 20.

U18 AAA

The U18 AAA season begins on September 20.

U17 AAA

The U17 AAA league starts off the 2025-26 BCEHL season on September 13 with eight teams lacing them up. The Okanagan Rockets and Fraser Valley Thunderbirds who were the 2024-25 season's top teams will face-off on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday's U17 Games:

Fraser Valley Thunderbirds @ Okanagan Rockets – 3:00 p.m. – MNP Place

Thompson Blazers @ Greater Vancouver Canadians – 5:15 p.m. – Richmond Olympic Oval

Vancouver North West Hawks @ Cariboo Cougars – 5:15 p.m. – Kin Centre

Vancouver Island Royals @ Valley West Giants – 5:30 p.m. – Planet Ice Delta

Sunday's U17 Games:

Vancouver North West Hawks @ Cariboo Cougars – 8:00 a.m. – Kin Centre

Thompson Blazers @ Greater Vancouver Canadians – 8:30 a.m. – Richmond Olympic Oval

Fraser Valley Thunderbirds @ Okanagan Rockets – 10:00 a.m. – MNP Place

Vancouver Island Royals @ Valley West Giants – 2:30 p.m. – Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex

The U15 AAA league returns on September 19 during the league's first showcase of the season held in Langley at Langley Twin Rinks.
