Saanichton, B.C. - The BCEHL's 2025-26 season is in full swing as all leagues are set to hit the ice this weekend. The U17 AAA league enters week two while the U15 AAA league kicks off their season with their first of two showcases. Let's take a look at what's happening.
Female U18 AAA
The Female U18 AAA league has two teams squaring off this weekend to begin the season. The Vancouver Island Seals will host the Thompson-Okanagan Lakers in Port Alberni.
Saturday's Female U18 Game:
Thompson-Okanagan Lakers @ Vancouver Island Seals – 3:45 p.m. – Alberni Valley Multiplex
Sunday's Female U18 Game:
Thompson-Okanagan Lakers @ Vancouver Island Seals – 8:00 a.m. – Alberni Valley Multiplex
U18 AAA
The U18 AAA league starts with all eight teams in action. The Okanagan Rockets will begin defence of their championship when they visit the Greater Vancouver Canadians.

Valley West Giants @ Vancouver North East Chiefs – 3:30 p.m. – Scotia Barn
Okanagan Rockets @ Greater Vancouver Canadians – 5:15 p.m. – Richmond Oval

U17 AAA
The second week for the U17 AAA league gets underway this weekend. The league-leading Thompson Blazers (2-0-0-0) will go head-to-head with the seventh-place Vancouver Island Royals (0-2-0-0).
